    The kit came delivered in perfect shape. It didn't shave to the skin but did give me razor burn.

    So sorry to hear about your so-so experience with your Flamingo razor once it arrived. The lubrication plate on the razor is designed to work in conjunction with shave gel or a good soapy lather, for a smoother shave, I suggest you try letting your Shave Gel sit on your skin for a minute or so before shaving, and shaving towards the end of your shower or bath when your skin has softened.
