Do I need to use shave gel with the Moisture Plus Blades?
No shave gel required! The moisture bars surrounding the blades are water activated. Just a few seconds under some water and the Moisture Plus blades are good to go!
Which handle should I use with the Moisture Plus blades?
The Moisture Plus Blades are exclusively for use with the Moisture Plus handle. They are not compatible with the Original or Pubic Handles.
What's the difference between the Original, Pubic and Moisture Plus Blades?
Moisture Plus Blades feature four sharp stainless blades surrounded by water activated moisture bars enriched with aloe, coconut, and shea butter - shave gel not required, keeping your routine simple and smooth. These blades are only compatible with Moisture Plus handle.
The Original Blades feature a 360° comfort system (with aloe and shea butter) which works with your shave gel or a good soapy lather for a really close, really comfortable shave. These blades are specifically designed for the curves of the body and angled to fit all the different areas they shave—legs, armpits and bikini line.
The Pubic Blades are designed with a slimmer razor cartridge and a flexible head which is intended to give you more precise control when removing hair in harder-to-reach areas.
For the days when you don’t have time for an everything shower, these one step blades do the trick thanks to extra comfortable moisture bars enriched with aloe, coconut, and shea butter.

Disappointed
The moisture bars dissolve much too quickly. After I shave my legs and arms the bottom moisture bar is completely and the top moisture bar is just about gone as well.
I love the convenience of not having to use shaving gel, but if I have to use 1 blade each time I shave, that ends up being too costly to continue using the Flamingo cartridges.
