    These do not work

    The wax sticks to the hair….when I remove the strip nothing comes off and I’m stuck with a sticky armpit. I’ve followed the directions exactly. Do not waste your money.

    So sorry to hear about your difficult first wax! Doing your underarms can be particularly tricky because you're going for it with only one arm. To get your skin super taut, try leaning against a wall with your arm raised above your head and pushing your hips away from the wall to really stretch your skin. You might also think about doing your underarms in sections. When it's time to pull, make sure that your skin is held taut and that your movements are quick, confident, and close to the skin. If you pull too slowly, you’ll just leave wax behind instead of removing hair from your body. If you're still having trouble please send us a note at help@shopflamingo.com.

    Efficient and easy to use

    For everyone saying that the product doesn't work, it is probably because they are waxing incorrectly. This product works exactly as it should! I did a perfectly smooth wax on my legs, all the hair got removed from the follicle. Note, I have VERY coarse thick hair. I also tried the body wax strips on my bikini area. This was a little more difficult since the hair grows all different directions and the skin is more sensitive, but it still worked! I will try the bikini specific strips for that area moving forward.

    Aaaaalmost there!

    The flamingo strips worked wonderfully on my legs. It's been three weeks, and I'm just now getting prickles! The armpits, though, didn't work at all... I'm blaming my hair pattern partially, as it grows in numerous directions. However, after waiting 10 days for long enough hair and ensuring proper hair and wax adhesion for minutes, I took a big breath and ripped. I think I got off 6 hairs in total. Pretty disappointed after the success of my legs... not sure what needs to change :(
