Everything you need to know about using our viral Hair Removal Creams

Before you get started

  • Check your skincare routine: If you use retinol, retinoids, products that contain vitamin C or an alcohol base, or chemical exfoliants, discontinue use 1 week prior to using the product.

  • Patch test before every use: Always check the reaction of your skin by applying cream to a small part of the area to be treated, following the directions. If after 24 hours there is no adverse effect, continue with application.

  • Check your hair length: A good length is from stubble and to a quarter inch.

  • Where to use:

For Face: Upper lip, chin, and sideburns.

For Body: legs, arms, stomach, and bikini line

  • Do not use on: Head, eyes, eyebrows, nose, ears, chest, nipples or surrounding area, perianal or
    genital area.

  • Check with your doctor: if you suffer from any medical condition that may be affected by compromised, undergoing Glycolic Acid treatments or if you suffer from any skin related disorder, circulatory issues or diabetes.

  • Set a timer: Don’t exceed 10 minutes total. If you feel any discomfort or burning
sensation during application, remove cream immediately.

How to use the Facial Hair Removal Cream

Tips

  • It's important to make sure you are applying a thick, opaque layer of the cream so your skin is covered and the hairs are totally coated. If you can see your skin underneath the layer of cream, there is a good chance it won't remove all the hair.

  • When removing the product, using a damp wash cloth helps create additional friction for removing those more stubborn hairs. Use firm (but not too vigorous) pressure when wiping away the product.

Aftercare

  • Wash your hands! If you get the cream on your fingers while applying, wash your hands thoroughly afterwards. If cream gets on skin area other than the intended area to remove hair, wash immediately. This cream is not intended to be left on the skin except for while you’re removing hair.
  • Always wait 72 hours between applications.
  • Let your skin rest and breathe, use a gentle moisturizer and avoid touching and wait to apply make up.
  • Avoid sunbathing, swimming, or using deodorants, or other alcohol-based, or perfumed products for 24 hours before and after use.

FAQ

1. Can I use it while pregnant?

We always recommend checking with your doctor before using new products while pregnant. That being said, we are proud of the thoughtful ingredients in our products and our hair removal creams are generally safe. Always patch test before use and follow the product instructions closely.

2. Can I reuse the applicator?

Yes! The applicator is designed to be reused throughout the life of your product. Simply rinse it thoroughly after each use and allow it to dry before storing it for next time.

3. Is it safe on tattoos?

Our hair removal creams are generally safe to use on skin, but avoid using it on new or healing tattoos to prevent irritation.

4. Can you shower off the product? What do I do with the cream once you take it off?

Yes, as outlined in our instructions, the cream should be rinsed off thoroughly with water once you’ve removed the hair. The shower is usually the easiest and cleanest place to do this. Our hair removal cream is water-soluble and easy to rinse down the drain in normal amounts.

5. Can I use it on my pubic area? Give myself a Brazilian with it?

No — our hair removal cream should not be used on any genital areas. The formula has been tested for safety and efficacy on the bikini line only, which refers to the external area outside the underwear line.

Do not apply the product to broken, irritated, or inflamed skin. If you experience any redness, discomfort, or irritation after use, rinse the area thoroughly and consult a doctor.

6. Do I have to apply moisturizer after? What are the appropriate post-care steps?

Face: We recommend applying our Calming Serum after using the hair removal cream to help soothe the skin.

Body: Yes, we recommend applying a moisturizer after using the hair removal cream to help soothe the skin and support its natural moisture barrier.

For 24 hours after use, avoid deodorants, perfumes, exfoliating products, or tight clothing on the treated area to minimize irritation.
