Everyone’s shave routine and rate of hair growth is unique but generally we suggest changing your blade cartridge every 6-8 uses, or when you start to feel tugging or pulling as you shave.
To keep your razor in the best shape, store it upright, preferably in a dry place away from the shower spray. This is where a shower holder, included in our Shave Set, can help.
Make sure the suction cup and surface you’re sticking it to are both clean and free from debris. The smoother the surface, the better. Pro tip: add a little emollient (we like Vaseline) around the rim of the suction cup to help it stick, and “burp” the suction cup to remove air.
Yes, Harry’s blades can be used on Flamingo handles and Flamingo blades can also be used on Harry’s handles.
Hold the base of the handle with the Flamingo logo facing up. Pinch the left and right sides of the rigid plastic connector below the handle with your thumb and forefinger. Slide that connector piece away from the handle. The blade cartridge should pop off easily.
We made some upgrades! Our razor still has 5 sharp stainless blades, but now they’re surrounded by a water-activated 360° comfort system to help protect skin from irritation. We also introduced new handle colors: Lilac, Sage, Rose, and Papaya.
If you still have your metal-accented handle or lots of original Flamingo blades on hand, don’t worry; the new blades fit any Flamingo handle, and the new handle fits any Flamingo blades.

Wax results last up to four weeks, depending on how quickly your hair grows.
Everyone’s skin is different, so we recommend spot testing before use. Some skincare products like retinols, chemical exfoliants, alcohol based toners, and products containing ascorbic acid can increase skin’s sensitivity to wax, so stop use for a few days before waxing. Make sure your skin is clean and dry, then pull strips slowly apart to ensure even wax distribution. Massage the strip into your skin after applying. Pull your skin taut, then pull the wax strip in the opposite direction of the hair growth quickly and close to the skin. Visit shopflamingo.com/wax for step-by-step tutorials.
Each wax strip can be used for 2-4 pulls, depending on the thickness and density of your hair. Post-wax cloths are intended to be used for one waxing session; however, one cloth can be used on multiple areas of the body during the same waxing session.
We wouldn’t recommend it. Our Pubic Hair Wax Kit can be used externally on your vulva and inner thighs, but it’s not meant for internal use (translation: don’t use it on your labia and anus!).

We formulated Ingrown Spot Treatment for external use, such as underarms and the pubic area. It can also be used on your face, though we recommend doing a spot test before use since facial skin is more sensitive. Also: always use SPF, especially after an exfoliating treatment like this one!
When applied twice daily, you should start seeing results within a few days.
Exfoliation actually preps skin for better hydration. All of our body moisturizers contain white willow bark, a gentle source of salicylic acid that exfoliates for softer skin. Combining exfoliation with our products’ moisturizing ingredients gives you two skin-softening benefits in one!
We recommend applying Light Hydrating Spray while standing on a non-slippery surface, like a bath mat or towel. Hold it a couple of inches away from skin (think: putting on spray sunscreen) and apply with abandon. No need to rub it in.
The squalane in our body moisturizers is plant-derived (we get ours from sugarcane).
Sometimes this happens if you shake the Foaming Shave Gel canister before use. It arrives pressurized, so there’s no need to do that before using. The best way to dispense the shave gel is to gently press the nozzle and spray it into your cupped hand, then apply where you want to shave.
All of our products are vegan aside from our wax strips, which contain beeswax.
All of our products are cruelty free and have never been tested on animals.
We care deeply about sustainability and are currently working on more earth-friendly ways to bring our products to you. Currently, most of our products are shipped in recyclable cardboard boxes and most of our packaging is recyclable. Check individual product packaging for guidance.
With our free shipping option, it can take about 10-14 business days for your order to arrive. We will send you a confirmation email that includes tracking information when your order ships. Orders to Alaska, Hawaii, and U.S. territories may take up to 4 weeks to arrive.
We currently fulfill orders anywhere in the U.S., including overseas territories. Unfortunately, we are unable to ship internationally at this time. Given current shipping regulations outside of our control, we cannot ship Foaming Shave Gel to APO/DPO/FPO destinations.
We offer free shipping for orders over $15. For orders under $15, economy shipping costs $3. We also offer one day and ground shipping options based on location. If available, you will see these options at checkout.

We offer a quality guarantee on all of our products. If you’re not satisfied with your purchase in the first 30 days, we'll provide a full refund. If your order arrives damaged, contact help@shopflamingo.com for a replacement.
After answering a few questions at shopflamingo.com/quiz-shave, you'll receive our Starter Set to try the Flamingo shave experience. Get a feel for the products and 17 days after that order is sent, we'll ship your next shave refill box. Your subscription will continue from there. You can cancel or modify anytime within your account.
You can cancel or modify your subscription anytime by visiting your account profile page, which you can find by clicking “Sign In” or “Account” in the upper right-hand corner of the page. There, you can add or remove products, change how often it ships, and delay or skip your next shipment.
Your card will be charged when your subscription ships. You will receive an email 2 days before, so you have time to modify or cancel if needed.
Visit the sign in page at shopflamingo.com/en/us/sign-in and click “forgot password.” You’ll be prompted to enter the email address associated with your account. You’ll receive an email with instructions to reset your password. If you don’t, check your spam or other folders and email help@shopflamingo.com for further assistance.
