A Definitive Guide to Hair Removal Cream

Everything you need to know about using our viral Hair Removal Creams

First Time? Here's What To Know!

  • Do a Patch Test First

Patch test on a small area where you plan to remove hair before every use to check for any skin reaction. If it looks okay after 24 hours, proceed!

  • Warmth is Normal

A slight tingling or warm sensation is normal as the cream gets to work. If you feel any discomfort, remove immediately & rinse with cool water.

  • Check Your Skincare

DO NOT USE IF you're regularly applying glycolic acid, retinoids, astringents, or other dermatological treatments on your skin.

Before you get started

  • Where to Use:
  • For Face: Upper lip, chin, and sideburns.
  • For Body: legs, arms, stomach, underarms, and bikini line
  • Do not use on: Head, eyes, eyebrows, nose, ears, chest, nipples or surrounding area, perianal or genital area, or any other body part this product is not intended for.

  • Avoid use on freshly shaved, broken, cracked, wounded, irritated, or sunburned skin.

  • Check with your doctor if: you suffer from any medical condition that may compromise your skin or if you suffer from any skin related disorder, circulatory issues or diabetes.

  • Double check your skincare routine: If you use retinol, retinoids, AHA/BHAs (for example citric, glycolic, salicylic, mandelic acids), prescription (Rx) skincare treatments, products that contain vitamin C or an alcohol base, or chemical exfoliants, discontinue use 1 week prior to using the product.

  • Check your hair length: A good length is from stubble up to a quarter inch.

  • Set a timer: Don’t exceed 10 minutes total. If you feel any discomfort or burning
sensation during application, remove cream immediately.

Facial Hair Removal Cream

Pro Tip: When removing the product, using a damp wash cloth helps create additional friction for removing those more stubborn hairs. Use firm (but not too vigorous) pressure when wiping away the product.

Body Hair Removal Cream

Pro Tip: It's important to make sure you are applying a thick, opaque layer of the cream so your skin is covered and the hairs are totally coated. If you can see your skin underneath the layer of cream, there is a good chance it won't remove all the hair.

Aftercare

  • Wash your hands! If you get the cream on your fingers while applying, wash your hands thoroughly afterwards. If cream gets on any skin area other than the intended area to remove hair, wash immediately. This cream is not intended to be left on the skin except for while you’re removing hair.

  • Always wait 72 hours between applications.

  • Let your skin rest and breathe. Use the Calming Serum for the face or a gentle moisturizer for the body, avoid touching your skin, and wait to apply make up.

  • Avoid sunbathing, swimming, deodorants, fragranced or other alcohol-based products for 24 hours before and after use.
